$130 a month, plus tax, in Canadian dollars. There is one plan with one price. You pay at the start of each month, and you stay month to month. The price is flat, and the fair use policy sets out the traffic your plan covers.

3 Gbps from day one. That's the speed your connection runs at, over fibre all the way into your home. Once your home's fibre is ready for 8 Gbps, your connection steps up to 8 Gbps, and your $130 a month stays the same.

Pick one of three router options. Your plan is $130 a month with any of them.

• Buy it. Pay $399 for the Tuckamore router, and you own it from the start.
• Include it. On the 2-year plan, the router comes on loan, and you own it once month 24 ends. Your service then carries on month to month at the same $130. We let you know 90 days before the term ends.
• Bring your own. Use a router of your choice that meets the requirements on the setup page.

It's a Wi-Fi 7 router that runs OpenWrt, so every setting is yours to customise. It's built on a MediaTek Filogic 880 and has two 10 Gbps SFP+ ports. Its Wi-Fi 7 uses the 6 GHz band, extra-wide 320 MHz channels, Multi-Link Operation, which lets a device use more than one band at once, and 4K QAM, which packs more data into each transmission.

Yes. Your router needs an Ethernet WAN port, the port that connects to the fibre box, that runs faster than 3 Gbps, since a 2.5 Gbps port holds the line back. For the 8 Gbps line it needs a 10 Gbps port. It also needs to reach IPv4 sites automatically over the IPv6 network. The setup page lists every requirement, gives the settings in order and includes an OpenWrt example.

Almost every installation includes a technician visit, charged at $240.86 together with your first month. Each of your first 24 bills then takes $10 off while your service is active, so $240 comes back to you across two years. The few lines that skip the visit install for $10.46.

1. Place your order online, giving your service address and picking your router.
2. We confirm your address with the fibre network and book your installation date.
3. Once your date is set, we charge your first month and your installation.
4. On the day, a technician brings the fibre into your home and fits a small fibre box, on loan from the fibre network for as long as you have the line. Connect your router to the box's Ethernet port, and you're online.

Within one business day of your order, we email you your contract and a two-page Critical Information Summary.

Yes, native IPv6. Your home gets its own static IPv6 block, a /48, and it stays yours for as long as your service is active.

Automatically. By default, your router reaches IPv4 sites automatically over the IPv6 network, and the Tuckamore router arrives ready to do it. Bringing your own router? The setup page shows how to turn it on.

Yes. To add a static IPv4 address, a /32, to your service, email support with your request. Once it's added, the address arrives over your connection. You're welcome to host services at home within the fair use policy, and to host over IPv4 you add the static IPv4 address.

Ontario homes at qualifying addresses can order today, as part of our pilot over Bell wholesale fibre. All of Newfoundland follows in Q1 2027, over Bell Aliant wholesale fibre.

Yes. Tuckamore is month to month. Leave any day, and we refund the days left in the month you've paid for.

The first 15 days of service are your trial. Send the router back in near-new condition in its original box, with your traffic at up to half the monthly fair use allowance, and we drop the router charge. We keep the installation charge you paid up front.

If you leave any time before the end of month 24, choose one:

• Send the router back in working order within 30 days, and that settles it.
• Keep the router and pay what's left of its value: $399 × months remaining ÷ 24.

Each month takes $16.625 off the value, and any month you've begun counts as a whole month. If you leave during month 6, keeping the router costs $299.25. During month 12 it's $199.50, and during month 18 it's $99.75.
